We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Product Development to join our Investment Management team. This role is located in Tokyo, Japan and is a hybrid working role.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsible for overall investment product development activities for both new mandates and existing businesses (inclusion of product management).
  • Lead the entire investment product development processes( Investment guidelines and operations) by closely communicating with the sales team members - retail, institutional and pension - and some other internal parties.
  • Communicate and negotiate with foreign group's related firms and some other external parties.
  • Raise innovative ideas to respond to the increasing demand from the clients for various types of products and their quality.
  • having investment solutions experience will be an additional advantage.
  • Proactively work on RFP process and enhance the quality in a bid to win new mandates and to maintain good business relationships with the existing clients and consultants.
  • Support with the team members to submit high quality RFPs within the deadline.

    • To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience in Product Management in Investment Management.
