This role is a Technical Science and Manufacturing Science representative position for the site wide project including Manufacturing Execution System (MES) design, development and implementation, new dry product primary and secondary packaging line installation in Seishin Manufacturing site, a pharmaceutical packaging site. This project requires coordination and collaboration with external vendors, global Lilly Teams, and key stakeholders in various governance teams and Functional SMEs. This role is reporting to Site Expansion and Digital Transformation Leader with dotted report line to TS/MS Leader.

Support projects including following actions to ensure project is completed on schedule

• Identify, communicate and mitigate risks within the project scope
• Provide oversight on vendor's activities from the technical aspects to ensure project objectives related to cost, quality, and delivery are met
• Participate cross functional project team meetings
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create software solution capable of meeting needs for digital batch record and enhanced performance monitoring of manufacturing equipment
• Provide stakeholders with key process information to support both tactical and strategic decisions related to project prioritization, resource allocation and broader site initiatives
• Participate benchmarking with areas external to the site to capitalize on replication opportunities and share best practices
• Ensure MES system can improve or maintained with manufacturing, quality, and safety standards by consulting and understanding global standards and local business processes
• Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment and accountable for implementing all HSE corporate and site goals
• Communicate effectively in both English and Japanese to facilitate smooth project execution and stakeholder engagement

Basic Requirements:

• Education: University graduate or higher in Technical degree

• Experience: Over 5 years of experience in manufacturing, project management, or similar work experience.
