Koreigo / 光麗語 is a pioneering venture redefining the relationship with aging, memory, and intergenerational connection through play, storytelling, and thoughtful design. We focus on treating elders as living archives and fostering dignity, joy, and shared understanding across cultures, languages, and generations. Through insights from super-aging societies like Japan, we design tools and frameworks to support families, caregivers, and communities in everyday life. Our projects blend intergenerational play, sensory aids, narrative tools, and human-centered AI to strengthen identity and connection. Koreigo exists at the intersection of culture, longevity, and empathy-driven innovation, aiming to transform aging into an opportunity for deeper connection.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Co-Founder based in the Greater Tokyo Area. The Co-Founder will drive the strategic direction, lead business development efforts, and collaborate on designing innovative tools and experiences. Responsibilities include overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, conducting research and analysis to validate product-market fit, and fostering partnerships aligned with Koreigo's mission. Additionally, the role requires contributing to product vision and engaging with stakeholders to ensure culturally responsive and impactful solutions.

  • Strong Analytical and Research skills to assess market opportunities, trends, and user needs
  • Exceptional Communication skills to articulate ideas, engage stakeholders, and inspire teams
  • Experience in Sales and Marketing to drive growth, build partnerships, and expand audience reach
  • Strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Demonstrated passion for design, intergenerational connection, or innovation in aging spaces
  • Business fluency in English and Japanese is a significant advantage
