Corporate IT Department is looking for a skillful Salesforce Developer for internal SalesForce system designs and development as CoE (Center of Excellence) team in Rakuten. We have over 100 SalesForce Organizations in Japan and Global and assuming one of the biggest SalesForce customer. There are various use cases to be implemented based on the business requirements since Rakuten has different IT services from E-commerce to Fintech. Now several SalesForce related implementation or customization projects are running in parallel in group-wide.Position:

This CoE Developer position support those group-wide activities for SalesForce management and lead the development from technical and operation efficiency perspective.We're proactively verifying and acquiring new technologies for SalesForce and other cutting-edge platforms, and evolving our service to the next level on a daily basis. This position may require the proactive mindset to chase those new challenges and contribute to the businesses by maximizing the capability of IT systems.
Position Details
As the developer for SalesForce, expected to lead the development with high quality solutions of SalesForce platform and manage the systems from usability and business efficiency perspective.Work collaboratively with colleague inside the team, other SalesForce developer in our company, and external partners to support each development project and exchange the technical knowledge among the stakeholders.
Deal with ambiguous problems, take responsibility for finding solutions using standard Salesforce functionality and customization where appropriate.
Develop solutions within the Salesforce platform including but not limited to:
- Creating new objects and page layouts.
- Developing process builders, approval processes and flows.
- Developing Lightning components.
- APEx code development.
- Report & Dashboard configuration.
Create end-to-end test plan, execute the plan and manage all activities to ensure objectives are met and the solution works as expected.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Over 2 years experience of Salesforce implementation, configuration and administration.
- Over 2 years experience of Apex development.
- Familiar with agile development methodologies with a focus on iterative and test-driven design methods.
- Firm understanding of Salesforce Lightning with experience of developing Lightning components
- Ability to train and provide support for SalesForce operations to business users.
- Official certification of Salesforce (Admin, Developer)
- Language skills: Japanese - Business level, English - Business level
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Basic familiarity and application of SDLC and Agile development methodologies
- Working towards or actively holding the Salesforce Platform Developer I/II Certification
- Strong problem solving skills and able to generate creative solutions
- Experience working with offshore teams
