Your Mission

We are currently seeking an experienced and energetic Public Relations Manager to join the UiPath Global Communications team. This position will play a significant role in driving UiPath media efforts and thought leadership across the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.

As the APJ Public Relations Manager with a special focus on the Japan market, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies tailored to the cultural nuances and business landscape of Japan. He/she will work closely with internal stakeholders and external PR agencies to enhance brand visibility, manage media relations, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in Japan. Creativity, strategic mindset, and a hearty appetite for growth are a must. This is a hands-on role that requires commitment and dedication to innovation and teamwork as the pathway to success. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Public Relations, APJ.

What you'll do at UiPath

  • Implement PR strategies that help increase the share of voice and brand awareness in Japan, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with overall PR goals and UiPath marketing objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key media publications, journalists, UiPath leadership team and other relevant stakeholders in Japan.
  • Partner with Japan and regional agency to build effective PR programs and continuously achieve positive coverage momentum in Japan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, HR and Legal, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding across all communications channels.
  • Assist with the development and execution of strategic regional and local public relations campaigns and initiatives for UiPath to build brand awareness and enhance brand reputation.
  • Create compelling key messages and executive briefings for interviews while ensuring consistency of company's brand, tone and message, using appropriate spokesperson.
  • Prepare and edit media materials, including news releases, fact sheets, media briefings, etc.
  • Effectively manage projects and multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Partner with PR agencies to manage and coordinate reporting requirements and ensure APJ PR results are well represented.
  • Manage minimal social media assets for Japan.
    • What you'll bring to the team

  • An experienced PR professional with a demonstrated track record in the technology space, ideally supporting a global enterprise software B2B company.
  • Six-eight years of technology/B2B public relations experience within an agency or corporate environment preferred.
  • Proven track record in media relations working with trade, regional and vertical publications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese; good command of English is a must.
  • Self-directed, result-oriented and the ability to manage frequently changing priorities and projects.
  • Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs. Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker.
  • Building trustful work relationships with various audiences.
  • Combines strategic prowess with executional excellence and a "can-do" attitude.
