Job Description

  • The Public and Social Infrastructure Division is responsible for handling central government ministries, local governments, universities/research institutions, hospitals, and social infrastructure companies across Japan.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for clients in universities and research institutions in the eastern part of Japan.
  • Within the Japanese government's strategy of connecting dispersed data in universities and research institutions through a vast network for utilization, cybersecurity plays a crucial role.
  • Although our company already has significant achievements in each market, you will further expand our operations by directly approaching universities and research institutions to uncover new opportunities.
  • Simultaneously, you will also approach key partners to support the proposal of our products/services.
  • You will collaborate with internal departments such as the product sales team and marketing team to increase awareness and generate new business opportunities in your assigned market.
Qualifications

Requirements (MUST)

  • Over 3 years of corporate sales experience targeting universities/research institutions or in the public sector.
  • Over 3 years of sales experience with IT products (networking, software, or cloud: SaaS/IaaS/PaaS/security, etc.)

Preferred (WANT)

  • Understanding of the business flow and organizational structure of foreign IT vendors.

Desired Characteristics

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong self-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in English at a reading and writing level.

  • The Public and Social Infrastructure Sales Division is responsible for central government ministries, local governments, universities/research institutions, hospitals, and social infrastructure companies across Japan.
  • Our division holds a very high market share in the public sector and provides the opportunity to gain cutting-edge experience in the cybersecurity field of the public market, which is currently undergoing transformation, including the Digital Agency.
  • The average tenure of our sales employees is exceptionally long within the company, allowing for continuous experience accumulation and network building.
  • Sales employees work closely with Sales Engineers, collaborating with both internal and external partners to handle projects and develop the market.
