1933年創業から85年の長い歴史があり、ゴム・プラスチックを作る際に使われる化学薬品を扱っている専門商社。同社が扱っている化学薬品を混ぜることによりゴムやプラスチックの収縮性や耐久性を変えることができ、それが大手自動車メーカーのタイヤや部品になりたくさんの人の生活を支えています。また、1973年からはお客様のニーズを反映させるかたちでメーカー機能をスタート。もともとあつかっていた化学製品から派生して、樹脂をつかった工業用接着剤やモノの補強に使われる硬化剤を開発しています。今後は化学薬品の商社・工業用接着剤のメーカーにならぶ第3の新規事業をつくり、さらに事業を拡大していく方針です

広島の厳島神社に同社が開発した製品が採用されています。数年前に行った鳥居の改修工事にて樹脂のコーティング剤が採用され、海水による浸食から鳥居を守るのに役立っています。そのほかにもみなさんが一度は使ったことがあるボンドの原材料、船や橋などのさびを防ぐコーティングなどにも実績があります。また、同社が仕入れ販売をしている化学薬品は、トヨタ車のタイヤやゴム製の部品など、自動車部品を中心に多くのゴム製品に使われており、私たちの生活に広く貢献しています
