Responsibilities
Team Introduction
TikTok continues to unlock opportunities for artists and labels, with a brilliantly engaged community who love to build connections with artists and their music. The team is working globally and locally with artists, managers and labels to unleash the promotional and marketing power of TikTok, helping talents to secure success on the platform, music streamings, hit charts and brand collaborations.
Responsibilities
Gain in-depth understanding of competitive dynamics and music consumption trends in the Japanese music market to explore business opportunities.
Monitor song performance data on TikTok and DSP platforms to identify potential artists and tracks.
Use internal tools to forecast the future potential of released songs and assist product managers in iterating and improving prediction tools.
Provide regular recommendations and data support for business decisions and operational strategies through consumption and user behavior analysis.
Build data dashboards to visualize and enhance efficiency in team management and business analysis.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above, with over 3 years of experience in data analysis; experience in content analysis or a related data analysis major is preferred.
Proficient in business-level Japanese and English for internal and external communication; educational background in Japan is a plus.
Strong data analysis and learning skills, with advanced proficiency in SQL.
Data-sensitive with the ability to derive valuable business insights from data, capable of abstracting and quantitatively inferring business performance through data.
Passionate about the music industry; familiarity with Japanese and Korean music is preferred.
