Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

As a Brand Communication Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing the strategic marketing communication plan for Japan and APAC. Your responsibilities will include creating the brand calendar, digital marketing strategy, and overseeing related activities for Japan. This role requires a practical approach to improving digital channel performance, crafting compelling content, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders to align efforts with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic marketing communication plans and messages.
  • Create marketing creatives in line with global adidas creative direction.
  • Coordinate photoshoots for seasonal styles and Asia SMU products.
  • Manage and supervise marketing assets for sell-in and sell-through.
  • Ensure efficient execution of plans within allocated budgets.
  • Collaborate with Carlsbad Golf HQ for adaptation of global creative.
  • Participate in meetings at adidas golf head office in Carlsbad for brand activation discussions.
  • Define digital strategies to meet business objectives and industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and drive e-commerce sales.
  • Oversee digital advertising performance and reporting.
  • Develop strategies to engage audiences through digital channels.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners for successful execution.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum 5 years of Brand and Digital Marketing experience.
  • Understanding of Wholesale business.
  • Willingness to travel overseas.
  • Passion for and understanding of SPORT and GOLF.
  • Proficient in e-commerce practices and techniques.
  • Strong supervisory, analytical, and research skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, formulate action plans, and present findings effectively.
  • Experience in planning and purchasing digital media.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Business-level proficiency in English and fluent in Japanese.
