Accountable for customer and management for the project
Key Objectives of this Role:
Accountable and responsible to lead project activities to achieve goals and objectives as established during the initiation phase of the project and subsequent changes throughout.
Creating and executing project work plans (Configuration Management Plan) and revisions as appropriate to meet project phase deadlines and changing requirements.
Managing resources in conjunction with horizontal managers, manufacturing, and others.Helping resolve (through experience) day-to-day operational aspects of project scope.
Effectively managing project risk through mitigation planning by raisin RIO's within enterProj (Program Management tool) and ensuring timely closure of RIO's.
Supporting Project team in their monitoring and reports of timing, income, expense, and resource management.Ensuring less experience team members are utilizing Project Management and VPDS methodology.
Preparing for Senior Project Leader and Project Board project reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Ensuring all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately in enterProj.
Monitor project status (including supplier status) and review CM activities with appropriate stakeholder.
Chair the Change Control Board (CCB) and manage key activities related to changes and problems at a project level.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:
Required
Project Management or product development experience in automotive industry (more than 3 years)
Team Leadership/Management, setting cross functional targets, aligning with team stakeholders and driving the team delivery.
Good skills in Communication (Written and Oral), Leadership, Meeting facilitation, Presentation, Negotiation, Problem solving, Conflict management.
Business level of Japanese and English
Preferred
Experience working in either JOEMs or tier 1s to JOEMs
Experience of electronic parts / system development including software
Key Behaviors
Transparent for customer and management
Quick finding issue and escalation
Frugal and efficiency mindset
