About the Role

As a Customer Experience Quality Engineer / Analyst, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for our customers. This is achieved by meticulously assessing, refining, and enhancing their experience with our products. Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers, technical teams, and various stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies aligned with customer needs and usage scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Customer Success Manager to gain insights into customer system usage patterns, pain points, and requirements.
  • Utilizing customer feedback and usage data to understand how our products are utilized in real-world scenarios.
  • Helping to establish key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of quality engineering efforts in enhancing the customer experience.
  • Working with Quality Lead to ensure that test strategy aligns with customer product usage.
  • Executing testing activities to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of our products from a customer's perspective.
  • Reviewing CSM/customer reported bugs and investigating, analyzing, and championing resolving the issue in the most appropriate way.
  • Working closely with the quality engineering lead and technical/engineering department to ensure that automated testing efforts complement customer experience testing.

Requirements

  • Holding a Bachelor's in Software Engineering or Business, or related field.
  • Being able to communicate, read, and write proficiently in English and Japanese.
  • Having a proven experience in quality engineering or software testing, with a focus on customer experience.
  • Experience with tools such as Cypress and/or Playwright.
  • Having an ability to read and understand Javascript/Typescript code, being able to write automation tests is advantageous.
  • Experience with static, unit, integration/api, and UI level testing. Performance, load, and stress testing is advantageous.
