Report to:Head of Ichikawa Operation

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be expected to demonstrate leadership in managing our in-house warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities include determining MH allocation based on volume, managing productivity at the individual level, and planning and executing small- to medium-scale improvement (Kaizen) activities at the site level. During the first three months, you will have the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire operational process through both desktop learning and hands-on experience. After this onboarding period, you will take on full responsibility as an operations leader, managing a team of 5 to 15 warehouse staff, including monitoring individual productivity and allocating MH resources on a daily basis, as well as acting as owner for operational Gemba projects, leading to deliver strong performance and driving operational excellence.

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with the local regulations.
• Conduct safety training and maintain documentation.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness.
• Operational Excellence:
• Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and administrative tasks.
• Optimize workflows to achieve productivity targets and minimize errors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless processes.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, supervisors, and administrative staff.
• Assign tasks, provide training, and evaluate performance.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and accountability.
• Performance Metrics:
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.
• Implement process improvements based on data-driven insights.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Vendor Relations:
• Collaborate with transportation providers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
• Optimize transportation logistics to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
• Customer Service:
• Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Resolve any issues related to order fulfillment or delivery.
• Strive for exceptional customer satisfaction.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Business Administration, or related fields will be strong plus, but not mandatory.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years' work experience in the distribution management. Chemical material handling will be strong plus.
• 3-5 years people manager or project management experiment.
• Self-editing and self-coding for Power BI, Power Query and Macro will be strong plus.
• Business level English communication (Mandatory). Native level Japanese.
• Willingness to work in the diversified international environment.

• Sight shipping performance, Productivity, The number of customer complaints related to Distribution, Cost saving, the number of processes improvement, Incident Rate
• Counterparts in the business:
• Import/Export (Logistic Support), EHS/FE, Supply Chain planning, Regulatory affairs, Commercial. APAC team in charge.
• Suppliers (i.e., Carriers) in Japan. Government authorities, if required.

Warehouse Managerとして、自社運営の倉庫オペレーションにてリーダーシップを発揮していただきます。

キーとなる責任領域は、物量に応じたMH配分の決定、個人レベルの生産性管理、現場レベルの小規模―中規模カイゼン活動の計画&実施です。入社直後3ヶ月は、実オペレーションでプロセス全体をデスクトップ+肌感覚でも学ぶ機会を設定します。その後オペレーション責任者として、現場担当者5〜15人の管理(個人レベルの生産性モニター、デイリー業務でのMH配分)、その他オペレーション関連プロジェクトの実行者としてパフォーマンスを発揮していただきます。

受注の正確さ、納品の遅れなどの主要なパフォーマンス指標(KPI)をモニタリングします。 データ駆動の洞察に基づいてプロセスの改善を実施します。 経営陣に定期的なレポートを作成します。

5ベンダー関係:

輸送業者と協力し、契約を交渉し、ベンダーとの関係を管理します。 コスト削減と納品時間の改善のために輸送ロジスティクスを最適化します。

6顧客サービス:

顧客の問い合わせに迅速かつプロフェッショナルに対応します。 受注処理や納品に関連する問題を解決します。 顧客満足度を追求します。

学歴

化学、経営学などの関連分野の学士号は大歓迎ですが、必須ではありません。

最低限の資格

配送管理の実務経験5〜10年以上。 化学物質の取り扱いに関する経験があると尚良いです。 3〜5年の人員管理またはプロジェクト管理の経験。 Power BI、Power Query、およびマクロの自己編集および自己コーディングの経験があると尚良いです。 ビジネスレベルの英語コミュニケーション(必須)。ネイティブレベルの日本語。 多様な国際環境での勤務意欲。
