  • 社内外のガイダンス、関連する法規、規制の下で、医学/科学的リーダーと科学的ディスカッションを実施する
  • 医療関係者からのリクエストに基づき、医師主導研究に対する情報提供や会社のガイダンス紹介を行う
  • 科学的ディスカッションを通じて、アンメットメディカルニーズやデータギャップ等に関するインサイトを収集する
  • 科学論文や学会等で発表される、疾患領域に関する最新情報を収集する
  • 社内関連部署にインサイトや論文、学会等に関する最新情報を共有する
  • 社内関連部署(マーケティング、営業等)の要望に応じて科学的助言や情報提供を実施する
  • チームのプロジェクトや会社主導研究といった活動に従事する
  • アドバイザリーボードやMedical Education等の活動をリードする

必須条件

  • 医師、薬剤師、薬学博士あるいは生命科学分野の博士号を有する方、もしくは生命関連分野の修士号を有し、同分野の博士号の取得を計画している
  • 科学的データを深く理解することができ、高度な科学的バックグラウンドを有する
  • 担当疾患/治療領域に対する高い学習意欲を有する
  • メディカル戦略を理解し、実行する能力
  • 複雑な医学的情報を明確かつ端的に説明できる
  • 傾聴スキル
  • チーム員としての協調性
  • 高い倫理観とコンプライアンス意識、誠実さ
  • ビジネスレベルの英語スキル(ライティングおよび会話)

望ましい条件、資質

  • 2年以上の製薬企業もしくは医療関係企業、アカデミアでの勤務経験
  • 査読付き英文誌への投稿もしくは学会でのプレゼンテーション

  • Provide scientific exchange with SL (Scientific Leader)/KDM (Key Decision Maker) in accordance with Internal guidance, Local/Global-company policy, and Local rules/regulations
  • Provide advanced scientific information and company's guidance to IIS (Investigator Initiated Study) etc., upon SL's/KDM's request
  • Collect insights such as unmet medical needs or data gaps through scientific exchange
  • Collect up-to-date information on scientific publications or academic conference, etc. that are relevant to responsible disease areas.
  • Provide scientific advice/information upon the requests from the relevant divisions (MKT, Sales, etc.)
  • Share up-to-date information (insight, theses, academic conference) with the relevant departments inside the company
  • Proactively engage in activities such as department studies or team projects
  • Lead advisory board or medical education, etc.
  • Support subordinate in improving his/her skills as a mentor (only for Sr Specialist)

The General Medicine is one of focus area for our company and has been engaged in launch of innovative drugs while expanding target indications/therapeutic areas over the last years.

We build the highly motivated team as our work helps medical society and patients to overcome life-threatening diseases and saves patient's life. The main roles of MSL are to obtain insights through peer-to-peer scientific exchange with Japan top scientific leaders. The insights are shared with internal / external stakeholders, which leads to development of respective strategies to improve healthcare. MSLs need high scientific knowledge, communication skills and strategic thinking. Despite challenges, MSL's job is highly appreciable as it contributes to healthcare by developing relationship and exchanging science with the top specialists and medical professionals of the area. We are recruiting members who will mainly work for pulmonary hypertension/pulmonary arterial hypertension. It is also possible to expand your career in the future while collaborating with other disease areas (cardiovascular, metabolic diseases, central nervous system, etc.) covered by our General Medicine area.
