About the Role:
The Social Commerce Junior Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting daily operation of maintaining site contents (product description, category, price, promo, photo images and other necessary information) of social commerce channels.
This role will be expected to lead the social commerce platform while also being a partner in the larger scope of the Japan Ecommerce team.
What You'll Do:
Register product info of each new items to social commerce flatforms, modifying product descriptions for the timely launch of product on the platform.
Maintain photo images correctly and update in the case incorrect or inappropriate image are used.
Monitor promotion & advertisement service performance and provide report/analysis/improvement plan timely.
Maintain appropriate inventory exposure levels on social commerce platforms, in partnership with Official site ecommerce team members.
Support team with adhoc data and report creation.
Point of contact for site contents for internal/external partners (inventory management, logistics, Gaptech and external vendors.
Own customer relations management process for the platform &
Partner with social commerce marketing counterpart on content creator sample management, in line with budget targets for this cost stream.
Support ad hoc requests needs for larger scope Ecommerce team projects, both new & existing.Partner with Financial team for timely sales recognition
Who You Are:
Required Experience
2-4 years of general retail operations & customer service experience
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in Japanese.
Proactive, flexible working style.
Able to thrive in a matrixed organization.
Comfort with ambiguity.
Basic computer & data processing skills for reporting (Excel, MS Office)
Basic editorial skills for Product Description etc
Fashion Apparel product knowledge of Gap Japan KK brands' assortment
Preferred Experience:
Experience with brand engagement & content creation trends on social media platforms
Basic communication skills in English (TOEIC 650 or equivalent)
eCom sales & operational experiences in direct and/or 3rd party platforms
Sales & data analysis experience
