■梱包って?
現在は、国内のメーカーの多くが、コストなどの面から海外に工場を持ち、製造は国外で行って製品を国内外で販売しています。そのためには、その工場で製品を作るための「機械」をその海外の工場に運ぶ必要があります。S社では、こうした「工場で使う機械」そのものを梱包輸出しています。
ただ梱包して運ぶだけであれば意味がありません。低コスト、高品質、短納期等、ますます厳しくなるお客様のニーズへの迅速な対応には、注文を受けて、言われたとおりにするだけでなく、どうすればよりお客様のニーズに応えることが出来るか、自社から提案していく必要があります。
例えば、工場用の機械も、完成品が既に出来た状態で納品されてしまうと、どうしても形が大きくなってしまい、物流コストも高くなってしまいます。しかも、物流コストの面で考えた時に、「梱包」でかかる費用の割合は実は非常に大きいです。そのため、機械を製造する段階から運ぶことも視野に入れてお客様と話をすすめていくことで、物流コストも下がり、より短期で高品質さを求めるお客様のニーズに応える事ができます。だからこそ、S社では、梱包の原点を見つめ、物流コーディネーターを目指しています。
