Java Developer / DevOps Engineer – Wealth Management Systems

About The Role
Join a leading global financial institution's engineering team driving digital transformation (DX) through cutting-edge technology. We deliver agile, high-quality solutions that empower Wealth Management business operations. As part of a dynamic, multinational team, you'll work closely with business users to create systems that truly add value.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop systems as part of an agile development team.
- Collaborate directly with business users to plan and define specifications.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support production environments.
- Manage new and mid-stage application development for client and web-based solutions.
- Ensure smooth operations and maintenance of production systems.
Tech Stack
- Backend: Spring Boot
- Frontend: Angular (React/Vue experience is a plus)
- Database: MS SQL Server, Elasticsearch
- DevOps: Jenkins, Ansible, Git/GitLab, Nexus
- Testing: JUnit, Selenium
- Other Tools: Jira, SonarQube, Kibana
- Environment: Linux, Cloud
Requirements
- 4+ years of web application development experience using Java or Python.
- Native-level Japanese communication skills.
- Experience in requirements definition with business users.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
- Familiarity with Spring Boot and agile development methodologies.
- English communication skills for global collaboration.
- Knowledge of securities business.
