Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Test Engineer / Test Lead capable of managing end-to-end testing activities, coordination, planning, and communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning & Coordination
Coordinate and handle inquiries with external companies and vendors.
Create and maintain the Master Test Plan (MTP).
Lead, plan, and coordinate testing activities across functional areas.
Plan and manage integration testing with external companies.
Participate in Joint Gateway (GW) activities with IT and business teams.
Create SIT calendars and update them after each testing cycle.
Prepare Nissei UAT calendars and manage updates for subsequent rounds.
Create and adjust ND data as required for testing.
Prepare new contract scenarios and test conditions.
- Test Case & Scenario Management
Develop, validate, and refine test scenarios through multiple review cycles.
Compare competitors' test cases for alignment and completeness.
Create updated SIT and UAT calendars based on progress and cycle changes.
- Test Execution Support & Monitoring
Ensure timely updates and coordination across teams.
Support cross-team communication to ensure efficient defect resolution and test alignment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–5 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe Testing.
Strong experience in test planning, test coordination, and scenario development.
Ability to independently prepare testing documents (SIT/UAT calendars, MTP, test scenarios).
Proven experience in coordinating with multiple teams and external vendors.
Proficient in Japanese (Native/JLPT N2) and able to communicate with business and technical stakeholders.
Intermediate English proficiency for reporting and communication.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple test cycles and track progress efficiently.
