About the Project

We are the
main contractor
for a
large-scale data center project in Japan
.

This is a long-term, flagship project where you can be involved from
early design coordination through construction and commissioning
.

To strengthen our international project team, we are now hiring
experienced professionals
, with a strong focus on
MEP (Mechanical / Electrical)
roles, as well as key positions in civil, cost, QA/QC and project management.

Positions We Are Hiring

We are especially interested in candidates with experience in:

Priority: MEP / Electrical / Mechanical

• MEP Lead / MEP Coordinator (Data Center)
• Electrical Engineer / Electrical Site Engineer
• (power distribution, HV/LV, UPS, generators, switchgear, grounding, etc.)
• Mechanical / HVAC / Cooling Engineer
• (chillers, CRAC/CRAH, chilled water, pumps, air flow, containment, etc.)
• MEP Commissioning Engineer / Commissioning Manager

Other key roles (also open)

• Civil / Structural Engineer / Site Engineer
• Construction Manager / Site Manager
• QA/QC Engineer / Quality Control Manager
• Cost Engineer / Quantity Surveyor (QS)
• Procurement / Subcontract / Contract Engineer
• Planning / Scheduling Engineer (Project Controls)

Your final title and scope will be adjusted based on your experience and strengths.

What You Will Do (depending on your role)

• Support and lead
  design and site coordination
  for a large data center (MEP + Civil).
• Plan and manage
  construction schedule, quality, safety and cost
  .
• Review and coordinate
  shop drawings, method statements and material submittals
  .
• Supervise
  MEP and/or civil works on site
  and coordinate subcontractors.
• Implement and monitor
  QA/QC procedures
  , inspections, testing and documentation.
• Handle
  procurement
  , RFQ/RFP, vendor/subcontractor coordination (for key equipment and works).
• Support
  testing & commissioning
  and integrated system testing for power and cooling systems.

Requirements

Must have:

• Experience in
  large-scale construction projects
  , ideally including:
• Data centers, or other mission-critical / highly technical facilities.
• Professional background in at least one of the following:
• MEP / Electrical / Mechanical / HVAC / Cooling
• Civil / Structural / Architectural
• Cost / QS / Procurement / Subcontract / Contract
• QA/QC / Construction Management / Planning
• Currently
  living in Japan
  and able to attend interviews in Tokyo.

Language

There is
no strict language requirement
.

Our team is international and uses multiple languages.

• Japanese
  : strong plus
• Chinese (Mandarin)
  : strong plus
• English
  : welcome, especially for document reading and basic communication

Any combination of these languages is acceptable.

If you can work comfortably in
either Japanese or Chinese
, that will be a big advantage.

Qualifications (Nice to Have)

The following are
not mandatory, but strong pluses
:

• Direct
  data center project experience
  (design, construction or commissioning).
• Knowledge of
  redundant power & cooling
  concepts (N, N+1, 2N, etc.).
• Experience in
  testing & commissioning
  of electrical / mechanical systems.
• Japanese professional qualifications
  , for example:
• 二級建築士 / 一級建築士
• 1級・2級 施工管理技士(建築・土木・電気・管工事 等)
• 電気工事士, 建築設備士, etc.
• BIM experience (Revit, Navisworks) or 3D coordination.

  Full-time, permanent (with probation period).

  Tokyo (head office in Akihabara area) with site visits as required.
