Associate – Private Capital

Our Practice
Private Capital is a specialized capability within our consulting business. We help clients achieve outstanding results on deals and post-transaction by delivering a differentiated return on investment across the investment cycle.
Your Role
As an Associate, you will break down complex problems into discrete tasks and direct junior consultants to key elements. You will plan and execute analysis, identify core issues, and craft suitable recommendations.
- You will manage project modules, develop hypotheses, collect data, create models, and conduct research.
- You will report to Engagement Managers and Principals for guidance on technical and senior-level steering.
- You will coach consultants and help them develop their skills.
- You will aid client meetings by preparing materials and facilitating workshops.
- You will contribute to proposal development and support business development.
- You will participate in firm events, training sessions, and recruitment activities.

- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience, preferably in strategy consulting or team-oriented environments.
- Experience guiding and supporting teams to achieve goals within set timelines.
- Strong background in strategic problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to share ideas with senior executives.
- Undergraduate and/or advanced degree from a top academic program.
- Willingness to travel.
- Native level Japanese and business-fluent English.
