We are AI VOLT and we are an AI startup based in Japan, developing next-generation generative AI technologies and our proprietary General AI Engine for enterprise clients across Japan and the United States. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an engineer with strong technical expertise and a genuine passion for AI research and innovation.
Role Description
This is a full-time/hybrid role for a
Frontend Web Developer
at an AI-based startup in Japan.
The developer will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining user-facing features
- Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Delivering responsive and high-quality web applications
The role also requires close collaboration with backend developers, designers, and cross-functional teams to create seamless and user-friendly web experiences.
Remote working options are also available.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in , , and TypeScript
- Proficiency in modern Web Development technologies
- Experience collaborating with backend developers
- Strong understanding of software development best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working in international or cross-cultural environments (plus)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Preferences
- Background and experience strongly preferred from Bangladesh, India, Indonesia & Vietnam
- Conversational Japanese is a plus
- High English proficiency expected
