This position is located within the Morale, Welfare & Recreation Club Alliance, Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan. The incumbent picks up food orders from Club Alliance kitchen to be delivered to various locations on base.
Duties
Help
- Picks up food orders from Club Alliance kitchen to be delivered to various locations on base. Verifies receipts and orders with customers upon delivery.
- Interacts and provides quality customer service to all patrons in the facility and in delivery services.
- When not driving, maintains delivery vehicles, to include: cleans vehicles used for delivery; maintains and monitors vehicles per MWR regulations, policies and guidance
- May assist with taking orders and prepping orders for delivery, as needed.
- Ensures annual/monthly/daily inspections are completed in a timely manner and notifies Club Manager accordingly to schedule maintenance as needed.
- Helps prepare orders for delivery.
- Double checks order and verifies deliver to correct customer/address.
- Completes vehicle log sheet

- Position requires the incumbent to possess a valid Driver's License to drive up to 3500 Kg /10 passenger vehicle
- The incumbent may work in inclement weather.
- This position is subject to the possibility of work on weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Must be able to read a map.
- Must possess good customer service skills
- Driver must be able to drive a van and electric vehicle.
- Must be quick and accurate.
- Must be able to follow all traffic rules and maintain good base driving record.
- Must be able to drive during inclement weather conditions to include rain and snow.
- Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision, and the ability to interpret instructions and specifications .

This position does not have an education qualification requirement.
