We manage hospitals across Japan, making it the country's leading hospital network.
Since 2019, the organization has been expanding rapidly through strategic acquisitions while building a robust technology infrastructure to support growth and maintain global standards.
The Role
You will lead all IT operations for Japan's hospital network, serving as the single point of contact for technology matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute IT strategy and roadmap for growing hospital network
Partner with leadership team to drive IT initiatives and deliver business value
Manage IT operations including infrastructure, hospital management systems (PMS), online payment systems, and security
Lead new hospital acquisition integrations and ensure alignment with global standards
Oversee IT project portfolio, vendor relationships, and annual budget
Drive operational excellence of outsourced IT helpdesk and continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinate with regional and global IT teams on security and data privacy implementation
Manage current initiatives including internet upgrade and security enhancements
Your Skills
Required:
Native Japanese and business-level English proficiency
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
8+ years of IT and/or project management experience
Strong understanding of Japanese business culture and operations
Proven track record in IT project management (planning, scope, risk, budget)
Experience with IT operations, infrastructure, and systems management
Excellent stakeholder management and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Preferred:
ITIL and PMP certifications
Healthcare industry experience
Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies
Experience with acquisitions and technology integrations
