SCPA Japan's S&S department is tasked with driving sales and business development through digital channels. The division focuses primarily on functional safety and cybersecurity and provides innovative digitally-enabled proposals, sales support and business development.

We are looking for a sales assistant who can support those tasks efficiently and effectively and contribute to the growth of the division.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative tasks within the company so that the sales representative can focus on negotiations with customers, etc.
  • Support the sales staff in the preparation of proposals and quotations, contract negotiations, contract signing, invoicing and other activities required for sales activities.
  • In training, which is one of the services offered, the following activities are carried out.
  • Coordinating dates with customers, setting up e-learning and managing participants.
  • Carry out procedures for issuing certificates of attendance and qualifications.
  • Carry out procedures for renewal examinations, etc.
  • In cooperation with MarCom, support the planning and management of marketing and sales promotions in the fields of functional safety and cyber security.
  • Support the planning and operation of marketing and sales promotion in the field of functional safety and cybersecurity.
  • Organise and analyse data on the performance of the sector.
  • Manage and build strong relationships with customers in order to understand Japanese business practices and facilitate internal and external communication.

  • Must be able to speak Japanese at a business level for effective internal and external communication.
  • Proven track record in managing customer relationships, particularly with Japanese customers, and an understanding of local business practices.
  • The candidate must be able to support sales activities by preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating and managing the conclusion of contracts, etc.
  • The candidate must have the ability to support the planning and organization of seminars and events for marketing and sales promotion related to functional safety and cyber security.
  • The candidate must have the ability to organize and analyze various data related to sales activities.
