We are seeking a thoughtful and experienced Human Resources leader to help shape a thriving workplace in Japan. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, guiding them through local employment practices and fostering a culture of inclusion, growth, and operational excellence.
Collaborate closely with regional colleagues to ensure our Human Resources practices are aligned with local laws and global standards. If you are passionate about creating meaningful employee experiences and driving positive change, we would love to hear from you.
The Role
- Champion employee relations and foster a positive workplace culture
- Guide leaders through local employment regulations and Human Resources best practices
- Represent Human Resources in key business meetings and decision-making forums
- Support talent development and streamline Human Resources processes for efficiency
- Provide thoughtful advice on complex employee cases and transitions
- Partner with global teams to roll out enterprise-wide Human Resources programs
- Lead recruitment efforts for specialised roles and support hiring managers
- Offer insights into compensation and benefits to ensure market competitiveness
- Contribute to annual performance and compensation review cycles
- Lead and mentor an HR Administrator
The Responsibilities
- Extensive experience in Human Resources leadership, especially within Japan
- A strong understanding of local employment laws and practices
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience supporting organisational change and transformation
- Clear and confident communication skills in English and Japanese
- Comfort working in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for inclusive leadership
