Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our Global Business Strategy Group and collaborate closely with our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). This role involves working as a key partner in driving our business forward, taking on responsibilities that range from supporting top management to engaging directly in frontline activities.

You will be an integral part of the Global Business Strategy group, responsible for shaping ispace's business strategy and addressing cross-organizational challenges. The primary focus of this role is on shaping the global strategy of ispace, including formulating the company-wide vision and strategies central to our business.

The position requires engaging in industry creation activities with government and private companies, such as lobbying and economic rationale assessments, as well as guiding global sales strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities that apply across global operations and improving systems and processes to enhance global collaboration.

This work will be done in close cooperation with our entities in Luxembourg and the United States. In this role, your responsibilities will be broad and encompass leading initiatives within the CRO domain, as well as in collaboration with CEO, CTO, and CFO, with whom you will communicate daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CRO Strategies: Develop and implement effective revenue growth strategies under the guidance of the CRO.
  • Global Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with CTO, CRO, and other senior leadership to drive business forward.
  • New Business Opportunities: Identify and develop new business opportunities that align with ispace's global strategy.
  • Industry Creation: Collaborate with government and private companies to create innovative solutions.
  • Systems and Processes: Improve existing systems and processes to enhance global collaboration.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field with 5+ years of experience in B2B sales and marketing.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify areas for improvement.
  • Knowledge of global business operations and market trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or related advanced degree with 8+ years of experience in business development and strategy.
  • Experience in the space industry, preferably with NASA or similar organizations.
  • Knowledge of GNC and AIT principles.

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
