We are seeking an experienced
SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) Lead
to join a global
S/4HANA implementation program
for a leading US manufacturing client. This role will be based in Japan and will involve working closely with global process owners, regional stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful design, build, and deployment of OTC processes.
This is a hybrid role based in Tokyo, Japan and requires
fluency in both Japanese and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the
OTC workstream
for Japan within a global S/4HANA implementation project. - Collaborate with global template teams to localize OTC processes while ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
- Conduct
fit-gap analysis
, identify localization requirements, and manage solution design for Japan-specific business needs. - Oversee
integration points
with related modules (MM, SD, FI) and external systems. - Drive
data migration strategy
for OTC-related master and transactional data. - Support
testing cycles
(Unit, SIT, UAT) and coordinate defect resolution. - Provide
training and knowledge transfer
to local business users. - Act as the primary liaison between Japan business teams and global implementation partners.
- Ensure compliance with
legal, tax, and regulatory requirements
in Japan for OTC processes. - Manage project deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years
of SAP experience with strong expertise in
SD/MM/OTC processes
. - Proven track record in
S/4HANA implementation
projects, preferably global rollouts. - Deep understanding of
Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Credit Management, and Integration with FI
. - Experience with
Japan-specific requirements
(e.g., tax, invoicing, legal compliance). - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team through complex project phases.
- Language:
Fluent in English and Japanese
