Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Early years Head teacher
We are a growing, new international preschool focused on outdoor education. We are open to new ideas, and this school is where you can make a difference and expand your possibilities. An ideal candidate will be someone with high motivation, open to explore, full of creative ideas, challenging, and flexible to adapt to changes.
This position plans, coordinates, and manages day-to-day activities, making sure children's routines are carried out in a prompt, hygienic, and consistent manner. The teacher must be efficient at supervising and ensuring the safety and physical well-being of the children, plan in preparing materials and supplies in advance for activities, guiding children during all activities.
Salary will be decided based on your experience and degree.
Early childhood education degree is a plus.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exhibits a genuine nurturing, caring, attitude to all children, teachers, and parents
- Plans in preparing lesson plans, materials, and supplies in advance for daily activities
- Observes children to detect signs of illness needs, and immediately report observations to the director for follow up
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong background in working with young children
WORKING HOURS:
- Monday - Friday
- 3 times a week 8:00am-5:00pm/2 times a week 8:30am-2:30pm
- Occasional events held on weekends
- Includes Summer, Winter, and Spring school
HOLIDAYS:
- Saturdays and Sundays
- 1 week of fall holiday
- 1 week of summer holiday
- 2 weeks of winter holiday
