The Role:
GL Manager (Fluent in Japanese & English)
We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Manager to oversee accounting operations in Japan.
This role requires strong expertise in inventory management and fixed asset accounting, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global standards.
Your SkillsLanguage Proficiency:
Native-level Japanese and fluent English (written and spoken).
Accounting Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of JGAAP and IFRS; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
GL Management:
Proven experience in managing general ledger, month-end and year-end closing.
Inventory & Fixed Assets:
Strong background in inventory accounting and fixed asset processes.
Systems Knowledge:
Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred).
Leadership:
Ability to lead and mentor a team while collaborating cross-functionally.
