【仕事内容】
A leading global financial institution is seeking a Director, Business Compliance to provide senior-level CFCC (Conduct, Financial Crime & Compliance) advisory support to its Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) business in Japan. This role sets compliance strategy, provides effective oversight and challenge, and partners with senior stakeholders to support sustainable growth within regulatory and risk appetite frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the CFCC advisory strategy for the CIB business in line with country, regional, and group objectives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing guidance, oversight, and challenge on compliance, conduct, and financial crime risks
  • Partner closely with business, risk, legal, and operations teams on complex transactions, new products, and strategic initiatives
  • Advise on regulatory matters, remediation activities, and cross-border projects
  • Establish and maintain robust, risk-based compliance frameworks, policies, and monitoring programs
  • Identify, assess, and escalate material compliance risks, breaches, and issues, ensuring timely remediation
  • Lead, coach, and develop compliance professionals, fostering a strong risk and conduct culture
  • Engage with regulators, internal audit, and governance committees as required

  • Risk Management, Legal, Finance, Operations, IT
  • Regulatory authorities and internal governance forums

【応募資格】

  • Extensive experience in compliance, conduct, or financial crime within corporate or investment banking
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks
  • Proven ability to operate at a senior leadership level and provide effective challenge to business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing senior internal and external stakeholder relationships

Language Requirement

  • English Language level: Business level
  • Japanese Language level: Fluent – Native Level Equivalent to JLPT N1)

【Salary】 JPY 19,000,000 – 23,000,000 Experiences and skills will be considered)
