We are looking for a motivated Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and servicing of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role involves hands on work at customer sites, close collaboration with internal teams, and continuous technical learning.
As part of this position, you will receive structured training to develop as a Field Engineer across multiple semiconductor equipment domains in the following areas:
- Surface Preparation Systems (cleaning equipment)
- Single Wafer Systems – SD (Single Device)
- Clean Track Systems – Coater / Developer
- Etching Systems
- Batch Deposition – Thermal Product Systems
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on site installation, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor equipment
- Assist with troubleshooting, inspections, and preventive maintenance
- Replace parts and support equipment upgrades under guidance from senior engineers
- Record service activities and prepare basic reports
- Work with team members and customers to reduce equipment downtime
- Support customer technicians with basic operation and maintenance explanations
- Follow safety rules and cleanroom procedures at all times
- Learn equipment operation through training, manuals, and hands on experience
- Respond to service requests and occasional shift or weekend work when needed
- Take care of company tools and equipment
- Perform other assigned tasks as part of the service team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 1+ years of experience as a Field Engineer, Service Engineer, or maintenance related role, prefer in semiconductor, medical, HVAC industry
- Business Japanese (JLPT N3+) and English language proficiency
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and manuals
- Basic understanding of cleanroom environments and safety practices
- Interest in semiconductor equipment and willingness to learn
- Basic PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Team oriented mindset with good communication skills
