Key Responsibilities
Act as the single point of contact for Rapidus, managing technical concerns, troubleshooting malfunctions, and resolving escalations effectively.
Collaborate closely with the customer to design and execute experiments for new process development, continuous improvement (CIP), troubleshooting, and tool-to-tool matching.
Serve as the on-site technical expert during equipment installation, start-up, and warranty phases.Lead equipment qualification to meet customer process specifications, timelines, and ASM budget targets.
Drive containment actions, short-term fixes, and long-term solutions aligned with customer requirements.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, sharing lessons learned across the key account organization and Global Sales and Services business unit.
Evaluate and anticipate customer needs to build long-term, sustainable relationships and solutions.Champion continuous improvement of the customer experience through team collaboration, process optimization, and support tool development.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, or a related field.
Hands-on R&D experience (industry or academia).
Experience with advanced troubleshooting and structured problem analysis methodologies.
Fluent English communication skills.
Conversational Japanese (JLPT N2 or better).
Residence in Hokkaido, Japan (or willingness to relocate).
Desirable Qualifications
PhD in engineering, physics, chemistry, or related field.
Cleanroom microfabrication experience (industry or academia).
Broad technical and business experience in the Semiconductor / Capital Equipment industry.
Knowledge of semiconductor device applications, vacuum techniques, film characterization, metrology, and deposition processes.
Experience with data analysis and DOE design using JMP software.
Business-level Japanese proficiency.
