・データベースクラスタに対するモニタリングと SLO の設計・開発
・大量のデータベースインスタンスを管理・運用するためのデプロイパイプラインの開発
・大量のデータベースインスタンスに のデータを分散配置するのに使われるマイクロサービスの開発
・MySQL のバージョンアップや新機能の検証・導入
ストレージチーム
・Ceph/Rook によるストレージインフラの開発・運用
・自社製 Kubernetes CSI plugin の開発
・既存インフラからの移行の設計・サポート
■この職種について
自社クラウドサービスの では OSS や自社製ミドルウェアを利用して、ペタバイトスケールのユーザーデータを扱っています。 近年では、ユーザー数の増加やユーザーの利用方法の多様化によって、データ容量が増大し必要な性能も高まっています。 それらの要求を満たすために、より管理コストが低く、スケーラビリティがあり、性能が高いストレージが必要になっています。 そのため新基盤のストレージの開発・運用および社内の利用者への教育を行うメンバーを募集しています。
データストアチームでは主に扱っているミドルウェアに応じて、3つのサブチームに分かれて活動しています。
ログ基盤チーム
ログ基盤チームでは、アクセスログ、サービス利用統計データ、顧客契約情報など扱うためのデータ集積基盤を開発運用しており、社内のビジネスインテリジェンスやサポート業務、パートナーへの分析データの提供などのデータ活用を支えています。またアプリケーションやシステムソフトウェアのログも収集しており調査やトラブルシューティングに利用しています。
現在はベアメタルサーバ上のVM基盤を使ってクラウドサービスを提供していますが、今後はより粒度が小さく動的にプロセスが生成されるKubernetesによるコンテナ基盤に移行していくため、ログだけではなくメトリクスやトレーシングを組み合わせてオブザーバビリティの強化を進めています。
DBRE チーム
DBRE チームでは を支える大規模なデータベースクラスタの運用と、データベースの活用を支えるさまざまな周辺コンポーネントの開発・運用に取り組んでいます。
今後はデータベースの新基盤への移行にも取り組んでいきます。新基盤では、自社開発した Kubernetes 用 MySQL オペレータ 「MOCO」を活用して MySQL クラスタを構築し、自動運用を行っていきます。
ストレージチーム
ストレージチームは、オンプレミスの Kubernetes クラスタ上に、Rook・Ceph および自社開発 OSS の CSI plugin などを用いてストレージを構築しています。利用している OSS に関しては、単なる利用だけではなく、積極的に Issue 登録や Pull request を行っています。また Ceph を用い、 アプリケーションが利用するバックエンドストレージサービスの開発も行っています。
今後はアプリケーションチームと協力し既存のストレージインフラから新基盤へ移行を進めていきます。
現在はログ基盤チーム/DBREチーム配属の採用予定しております。
