【 Job Description】

【Responsibilities】

As a Server-Side Engineer, you'll be responsible for the following tasks:

・Designing and developing across frontend, backend, and infrastructure for various development projects related to the company's matching apps.

・Developing APIs for web and mobile applications.

・Designing and tuning databases.

・Building and operating infrastructure using AWS and Google Cloud, including resource monitoring and improvement.

・Building and operating data pipelines.

【Development Team】

・The server team where you'll be assigned currently has over 10 engineers.

・Everyone on the team is involved in all aspects of development, including API development for apps, web frontend work, and infrastructure building, without strict role divisions.

【Position Highlights】

・Engineers can participate in product planning meetings, intervening from the specification definition stage and taking ownership of product development themselves.

・Development primarily reflects the opinions of engineers (and other roles), promoting UI/UX simplification for future development efficiency and phased new feature releases with usability in mind.

・The service has over 10 million users (approximately 130% year-over-year growth), with 1 in 4 people in their 20s and 30s using it. The company conducts user interviews and surveys internally, allowing engineers to develop while listening to user feedback. Engineers can participate in user interviews if they wish.

・There are opportunities to work full-stack, and you can advance your career according to your aspirations (Tech Lead, EM, VPoE, etc.).

・Frontend Domain: You'll handle HTML composition using jQuery in a server-side rendering format.

・Backend Domain: You'll be responsible for DB design, tuning when performance degrades, and new API development and operation.

・Infrastructure Domain: You'll design and implement content using Terraform within the AWS environment.

・Even those new to B2C development, coming from an SIer background, will find a support system in place to help them get accustomed to B2C development, with core members from SIer backgrounds providing assistance.

・You can quickly deliver the features you develop to users. For small modifications, releases occur several times a day.

・Since auto-scaling and similar technologies are utilized, you won't be burdened by infrastructure operations and can focus solely on feature development.

【 Requirements】

【Required】

■5+ years of development experience as a server-side engineer.

・3+ years of web application development experience using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.

・Experience in web development using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

・Experience with cross-browser and mobile compatibility.

・Experience developing across diverse platforms.

■Experience in collaborative development with multiple developers.

■Development experience at a company with a pull request-based mutual code review culture.

■Experience in coordinating and building consensus with team members (with assistance from the development team) to achieve development goals.

【Preferred】

■Experience in designing, building, operating, and tuning databases like MySQL.

■Experience using Elasticsearch, Redis, or Firebase.

■Experience in building infrastructure using cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.

■Terraform experience is highly welcome.

■Experience in designing for large-scale service capacity.

■Experience in designing and managing AI-related infrastructure (GPU, distributed processing, MLOps, etc.).
