We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Room Controller
to join our Rooms team. This role plays a key part in maximizing room revenue through effective inventory control, strategic room assignment, and close coordination with Front Office, Reservations, Revenue, and Housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily room inventory, availability, and room status
- Coordinate room assignments, upgrades, and VIP / group arrangements
- Work closely with Revenue and Reservations to support yield optimization
- Liaise with Housekeeping to ensure room readiness and accuracy
- Support Front Desk operations during peak periods
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Front Desk or Reservations experience at a luxury or upscale hotel
- Basic knowledge of OPERA or similar PMS
- Fluent in Japanese and English
- Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, calm under pressure
Preferred
- Experience in room inventory control, group handling, or revenue support
- Familiarity with cross-departmental hotel operations

主な業務内容
- 日々の客室在庫・ステータス管理
- ルームアサイン、アップグレード、VIP・団体対応
- レベニュー・予約部門との連携による収益最適化サポート
- ハウスキーピングとの連携による客室準備管理
- 繁忙時間帯のフロント業務サポート
応募要件
- ラグジュアリーまたはアップスケールホテルでのフロントまたは予約業務経験1年以上
- OPERA等PMSの基本知識
- 日本語・英語ともにビジネスレベル
- 高い調整力、責任感があり、プレッシャー下でも冷静に対応できる方

- ルームコントロール、在庫管理、団体対応の経験
- ホテル内の部門横断的な業務経験

Benefits
- Overtime allowance : Overtime allowance shall be based on actual overtime hours
- Bonus : Determination of the payment of bonus shall be based on the business performance of SLTY, the Shangri-La Group and individual performance of the Employee.
- Transportation fare : Actual public transportation fare required to report at the office and to return back home shall be paid (Maximum JPY 30,000.-).
- Merit Salary Increment : Salary shall be reviewed once a year based on the achievement of each Employee according the Company's discretion.
