Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Audio Visual (AV) Engineer to design, deploy, support, and maintain audio-visual systems across corporate environments. The role requires close collaboration with IT teams, facilities, and end users to ensure reliable, high-quality AV services for meetings, events, and day-to-day business operations.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a bilingual environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and support audio-visual systems including conference rooms, video conferencing, digital signage, and event spaces
- Provide L1/L2 support for AV-related incidents and service requests
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related AV issues
- Support and manage platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Webex, and other unified communications systems
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for installations, upgrades, and maintenance
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and operational procedures
- Support live meetings and corporate events as needed
- Ensure AV systems comply with company standards, security, and best practices
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in IT Audio Visual / AV engineering or support
- Strong knowledge of AV hardware (displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, control systems)
- Experience with video conferencing and collaboration tools
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, AV over IP)
- Ability to troubleshoot end-to-end AV environments
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Language Requirements
- Japanese:
Fluent (JLPT
N2 or higher
) - English:
Business-level or fluent (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in corporate or enterprise environments
- Certifications such as CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D, or equivalent
- Experience supporting executive-level meetings
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
Working Conditions
- Onsite or hybrid work environment depending on business needs
- Occasional after-hours or weekend support for events or critical meetings
