Your RoleThis position will primarily be responsible to interface with client and internal stakeholders; apply technical proficiency across different stages of the data science projects including requirements elicitation, hypothesis identification, model design, development and testing; play an important role in creating the hypothesis scenarios, designing model artifacts; to deliver high quality codes, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the requirements both functional and non-functional by going through the specifications and with inputs from business analysts and participate in creating high level estimate as well as translating the same to data requirements in order to create a data requirements document and participate effectively in the design, development and testing phases of the project
Utilize analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze and interpret data sets
Create hypothesis scenarios based on the business requirements
Create model design artifacts to provide deliverables in line with requirements
Develop models and algorithms
Review all artifacts (Design, Code, Documentation, Unit test scripts)
Develop A/B testing and test model quality
Define process and tools to monitor and analyze model performance
Required Qualifications
Must Currently hold valid working visa in Japan
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 8 of experience in Information Technology.
At least 4 years of experience in Data Science/AI/ML projects
Preferred Qualifications
At least 4 years of experience in AI/ML/DL algorithms, Python, R, Data pipeline, Data cleansing, Visualization
Business Japanese and English.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in software development life cycle
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
