Responsibilities
Manage and execute journal entries for external and internal sales, WIP (Work in Progress), payroll, social insurance, accrual etc
Manage WIP balance
Manage withholding tax balance
Prepare flash report and monthly closing report draft
Prepare Opex budget for functions
Manage all accounting items of a subsidiary (Create Journal entries and report to a Finance member in Reginal HQ in India)
Manage tax issues in liaison with tax consultants
Take part in ad-hoc projects
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
More than 7 years of financial accounting experience
Capability to perform financial closing procedures and tax
Competent in accounting systems and MS Excel (Experience in NetSuite and Tagetik is preferred)
Knowledge and experience on IFRS are advantage
Business level English, Native level Japanese
Personal Attributes
Superb attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter, able to work independently as well as in teams
Adaptable to a fast-paced and multi-cultural work environment
