Duties
- Performs a variety of manual tasks associated with handling, sorting, and distribution of linens in all lodging facilities.
- Collects soiled linens gathered from guest rooms and places items in bins provided and places at main storage area.
- Loads and unloads linen onto carts or bins for transport to other laundry storage areas.
- Reports shortages, damaged items, or equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
- Receives clean linen and delivers it where directed.
- Handles stain/biohazard items, fills out stain/biohazard forms and places items in biohazard red bags for collection.
- Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines and wears required PPE.
- Receives, sorts and double checks conditions of all linens, records all outgoing and incoming from laundry thoroughly before storing and issuing.
- Sorts linen by type (sheets, towels, blanket, etc.) and checks for damage or excessive wear.
- Takes and maintains accurate inventory and controls movement of soiled, damaged and fresh linens.
- Delivers clean linens to all storage areas and retrieves trash from bins on all floors.
- Ensure stock levels are accurate in all linen storage area.
- At times we will use a spot steam cleaner for pet rooms and soiled areas.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

- The incumbent must be a U.S Citizen or legal U.S residents residing within the commuting area (100 miles) of Yokota AB.
- This position requires the incumbent to work an uncommon tour of duty to provide coverage on evenings, weekends and holidays.
- This position requires the incumbent to satisfactory complete a pre-employment physical exam.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below.
