The 123-room Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is the company's second destination in Japan, in the city's historic Higashiyama-ku district, close to the Kyoto National Museum and myriad heritage sites such as the Toyokuni Shrine and Kiyomizu Temple. Local artists are featured throughout the traditionally-inspired modern décor characterised by an understated Japanese aesthetic. The Hotel has a spa and fitness centre with a pool, and four food and beverage concepts. There are also be 57 Four Seasons Private Residences.

The Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is looking for The Lounge Server.

Candidates with passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons.

As a member of the Food & Beverage Division, the The Lounge Server works across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

Describe the selection of Food & Beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain food & menu knowledge for items offered in the F&B Outlet; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the chef and bartender using the Hotel's point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest's original order; Serve the guests in a timely manner. Following FS standards.

Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables and drink stations.

Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.

Checks wine storage and temperature of all wine cellars of all restaurants.

Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Outlet Manager
