ウーブン・バイ・トヨタは、トヨタの100年に一度のモビリティ・カンパニーへの変革に寄与していきます。「自分以外の誰かのために」発明を続けたという歴史からインスピレーションを受けた私たちのミッションーそれは、モビリティの定義を拡げ、そしてモビリティが社会に貢献する方法を拡張し、人を想うイノベーションで、モビリティの常識に挑み続けることです。
私たちは4つの柱を中心に活動しています:自動運転・先進運転支援システム技術のAD/ADAS、SDV(ソフトウェア定義車両)のための車両ソフトウェア生産プラットフォームであるArene、モビリティのテストコースであるWoven City、そして協業基盤を支えるデジタル・インフラストラクチャのCloud & AIです。また、ビジネスに不可欠な機能がこれらのチームの実装を下支えし、一丸となって「事故ゼロ社会」と「幸せの量産」の実現に向けて取り組んでいます。

チームについて
トヨタはモビリティの意味を再定義します。ヒト、モノ、情報、そしてエネルギーを動かし、モビリティの常識に挑み続けます。Woven Cityでは、このような様々なモビリティを生み出し、試すテストコースとして、ヒト中心の街・実証実験の街・未完成の街をコンセプトに、幸せの量産を目指します。
Woven Cityには未来のモビリティへの想いを共有する多様な仲間が集まります。Inventors(インベンターズ/発明家)、住民、ビジターは、ヒト・モビリティ・社会インフラが連携する街の形をしたテストコースで、生活をしながら様々なプロダクトやサービスを実証します。
エンジニアとして取り組む主な課題は以下の2つです:
1. ハードウェアとソフトウェアを組み合わせたプラットフォームおよびサービスを開発し、クラウドやエッジ環境で動作させること
2. 「リーン生産方式」や「ジャストインタイム(JIT)方式」の源流であるTPS(トヨタ生産方式)を活用し、競争力のあるサービスを作り上げること
私たちのチームは、Woven Cityに不可欠な革新的な物流サービスを開発し、サードパーティのパートナーが参加できるプラットフォームを構築します。そのため、単なるアプリケーションの開発だけでなく、物流プラットフォームの中核機能や基盤の開発も担います。

求める人材
ロボティクスや自動化に情熱を持つソフトウェアエンジニアを募集しています。最前線でのイノベーションを目指し、最新技術や手法を積極的に採用する環境です。
技術的なスキルに加えて「自由」と「責任」を重要視しています。新機能を開発する際には、最適な方法を自ら選択し、最後まで責任を持って動作を保証することを期待しています。また、チーム一丸となって業務に取り組むため、ユーザー体験や開発体験全般に関わることができます。
このポジションのレポートラインは、スマートロジスティクスソフトウェアのファンクションマネージャーとなり、勤務形態はハイブリッド(オフィス、もしくはリモート)となります。
業務内容- ロボットやクラウド上で新機能を設計、実装、テスト、デプロイする
- チーム内外の関係者と連携し、新しい開発内容を検討する
- 運用チームから報告された問題を、記録データをもとにデバッグする
- 社内イベントで進捗を口頭および文書で報告する
- 年に1回以上のオペレーション拠点への訪問を想定しており、必要に応じて緊急時にも訪問を行う
- ロボティクス、メカトロニクス、コンピュータサイエンス、または関連分野の学士号、もしくは同等の実務経験
- 5年以上のロボットや産業用自動化システムのソフトウェア開発経験、C++またはPythonでのプログラミング、通信ミドルウェア(ROS 1/2、Zenoh、DDSなど)の使用経験
- 以下のいずれかのロボティクス分野での知識:SLAM、モーション制御、モーションプランニング、コンピュータビジョン、機械学習
- Linux環境でのバージョン管理やコンテナ技術(Dockerなど)を用いた開発経験
- ソフトウェア品質や自動化に対する高い関心(必要に応じて新しいプログラミング言語や技術を採用する柔軟性)
- ビジネスレベルの英語スキル(読み書き、会話)
- Modbus、CAN、EtherCAT、Profibusなどのハードウェアプロトコルやリアルタイムシステムに関する知識
- ハイブリッドクラウド/エッジ環境での開発経験
- RustおよびTypescriptプログラミング言語の実務経験
- 会話レベルの日本語スキル
