WMATCHA & Co. is a Kyoto-born brand crafting a new language of Japanese wellness and culture.

Within its first four months, the brand was featured at the Cannes International Film Festival and collaborated with Audio-Technica, Taneya, and Dassai — embodying the elegance and quiet strength of Japan on a global stage.

The Role

We're seeking a creative intern who wants to craft more than content — to craft culture.

You'll help shape the voice and visual presence of a brand rooted in Kyoto, craftsmanship, and mindfulness.

This role involves working closely with the founder, capturing authentic stories through photo and video across tea fields, traditional Kyoto streets, and domestic or international travel destinations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and create short-form video & social content (mainly Instagram, LinkedIn)

• Assist in filming and editing brand visuals — including founder features and on-site shoots

• Develop creative ideas that express Japanese aesthetics and brand philosophy

• Support storytelling through visuals, writing, and cultural research

Ideal Candidate

• Skilled in video editing, writing, or visual storytelling

• Passionate about Japanese culture, tea, or design

• Understands social media trends (especially Reels)

• Self-driven, thoughtful, and detail-oriented

• English fluent (Japanese a plus, not required)
