Private Client Service Advisory
Job Title: Business Succession Consultant (Private Client Services)

The successful candidate will provide a wide spectrum of support services as a trusted advisor to owner-operator businesses, high net worth individuals, and non-listed companies.
Involvement in this wide spectrum of support services offers employees the opportunity to gain a broad range of experience in business succession; asset succession; share evaluation; tax return preparation and advisory for corporation tax, consumption tax, income tax, inheritance tax and gift tax; restructuring; M&A; initial public offerings; family offices; overseas asset planning; philanthropy; and various other matters. We fully leverage the resources of our group to provide individuals and corporations with all-inclusive services.
We also provide tax services to a diverse range of organizations, including support for the establishment, operation, and tax and accounting compliance of ordinary business enterprises, Public Interest Incorporated Associations and Public Interest Incorporated Foundations, Incorporated Administrative Agencies, National University Corporations, School Corporations and Medical Corporations.

Responsibilities:
●Advisory services pertaining to the formulation and execution of business succession and asset succession schemes
●Evaluation of non-listed shares and other assets
●Tax return preparation and advisory services for corporation tax, consumption tax, income tax, inheritance tax and gift tax
●Support and advisory concerning restructuring, M&A and initial public offerings
●Support for family offices, overseas asset planning and related tax returns
●Advisory concerning the establishment, operation, and tax and accounting compliance of ordinary business enterprises, Public Interest Incorporated Associations and Public Interest Incorporated Foundations
●Tax and accounting advisory concerning Incorporated Administrative Agencies, National University Corporations, School Corporations and Medical Corporations
Requirements and Qualifications:
Manager :
● Have the experience and qualifications equivalent to that described in 1 or 2:
1 A minimum of 5 years of experience preparing corporate tax, consumption tax, income tax and inheritance tax returns at an accounting firm or similar organization, and at least one of the following certifications:
● Certified public tax accountant license, successful completion of the certified public tax accountant exam (including those who have received exemption from exam sections due to graduate schooling) or successful completion of one or more sections of the certified public tax accountant exam
● CPA license or candidacy (with experience in tax services)
2 Minimum of 5 years of experience working at a financial institution or similar organization in the high net worth individual business, providing advisory on business succession, or in sales
● Japanese: Business level
● English: Willingness to learn
● Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
WANT :
● Experience with large corporations and public interest corporations, or in tax consolidation and restructuring advisory preferred
● English: TOEIC score of 600 or greater preferred
● Experience using Excel formulas and macros preferred
Staff ~ Senior :
MUST :
● Have the experience and qualifications equivalent to that described in 1 or 2:
1 A minimum of 5 years of experience preparing corporate tax, consumption tax, income tax and inheritance tax returns at an accounting firm or similar organization, and at least one of the following certifications:
