Description:
In charge of followings;
- Director of Brand Marketing will work with BM VP and Senior Mangers in Marketing to develop annual plan to drive Domestic attendance by utilizing 1) major attraction launch like Super Nintendo World and 2) Seasonal Events like Halloween event.
- For Major attraction launch, Director of Brand Marketing will develop Marketing communication contents and activation plan contents by working with Advertising agency.
- For Seasonal Events, Director of Brand Marketing develop event strategy to drive attendance and guest satisfaction and work with Entertainment Dept. and Park Operation Dept. to develop execution plan for Seasonal Events. Also, develop Marketing communication contents and activation plan contents by working with Advertising agency.
- Through the communication contents / activation plan contents development, Director of Brand Marketing will contribute to enhance USJ brand equity.
The individual for this position has demonstrated skills; 1) strong Marketing communication contents and activation contents development, 2) program and project management focused on outcomes, 3) data and situational analysis to define the right business direction, and 4) cross group coordination across all levels of the organization.
TEAM:
There are around 40 people in Brand Marketing and there are 4 teams within Brand Marketing. Director of Brand Marketing will manage around 10 – 12 people.
QUALIFICATIONS
:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required.
- Have around 10-year consumer marketing experience
- Exemplary track record in Marketing communication and business delivery
- A highly creative mindset and strong comms design flair, with close attention to detail, to employ innovative ways to engage diverse and dispersed populations.
- Strong business acumen and organizational experience, with an ability to understand and anticipate business needs and organizational dynamics.
- Successful track record in strong, structured team leadership with results-driven approach.
- Strong influencer, with gravitas and confident interpersonal skills at a senior level
- Strong analytical skill to identity the right business direction
- Experience of working across international territories, with an appreciation of different cultural approaches to communication and engagement
- Strong team management skill
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT:
Ideally fluent both in English and Japanese in writing and speaking.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in Business.
