Global consulting firm delivering cybersecurity, technology risk, and compliance solutions across diverse industries is seeking Security & Privacy GRC Consultants to support growing client demand in Japan and across the APAC region.
The Role
- Join our Cybersecurity and Technology Risk & Resilience team to deliver security governance, privacy compliance, and IT risk management solutions for enterprise clients.
- Support security risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and implement security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry frameworks.
- Perform privacy program assessments, gap analyses, and assist clients with GDPR, APPI, and other data protection regulations.
- Conduct IT control assessments, support audit readiness, and contribute to IT governance and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders to communicate risk posture, program maturity, and strategic recommendations.
- For bilingual positions: Support Japanese clients and serve as a bridge between Japanese and global stakeholders.
Your Skills
- 5-6 years of experience in Security & Privacy GRC roles.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO
- Familiarity with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, APPI).
- Experience with IT risk management and compliance programs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- For bilingual role: Fluent Japanese and business-level English (spoken and written) are mandatory.
- Preferred: Certifications such as CISA, CIPM, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
- Preferred: Experience in consulting or client-facing roles; exposure to SAP GRC or enterprise GRC platforms.
