Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Yamagata, Japan, for a Quality Control Head. The role involves overseeing and managing the quality control processes at the site to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards. Key responsibilities include planning and executing quality control strategies, leading a team of quality professionals, monitoring production processes, validating test methods, and driving continuous improvement in quality systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to maintain high standards of product quality and safety.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Quality Control, Compliance Standards, and Regulatory Requirements
  • Expertise in Root Cause Analysis, Problem-Solving, and Risk Management
  • Leadership and Team Management, including staff development and performance evaluation
  • Experience with Process Improvement and Implementation of Quality Systems
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently under deadlines
  • Proficiency in using Quality Control tools and Management systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or related fields; advanced degree preferred
  • Fluency in both English and Japanese; prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus
