RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cable Design Unit, PCB Design, FPGA Design, PLC Design
Dealing with problems/defects in radio frequency (RF) system development and after mass production begins.
Design, layout, assembly, modification work of unit wiring, handling of measuring instruments.
Support the design and development of transportation system materials, wire harness design related work, and other project related support.
Supports the creation of new product documentation by creating OMS for NPI/CIP builds.
Design or revise electrical engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics, and detailed drawings/specifications to an appropriate extent with general and minimal supervision.
Investigating and implementing engineering document changes by ensuring compliance with standard procedures.
Escalation support for various tools (troubleshooting errors occurring in electrical modules/tools and providing solutions for those errors at the earliest).
BoM and Engineering Change ManagementDesign/modify electrical equipment for manufacturing and assembly of electrical components and develop manufacturing processes with operator input.
Design electrical test methods and test finished product/system performance to ensure product quality.
Research customer requirements, research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials, and develop electrical products.
Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends to produce product reports.
Answering questions and requests and providing engineering information
Maintain product and company reputation in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Create and enter computer programs for maintaining product databases.
REQUIREMENTS:
6-7 years of experience with electrical engineering design concepts and applications, operating components, schematics, electrical systems, machinery (equipment and instruments).
Experience in cable design (component selection, cable drawing, configuration creation) and single line diagram creation.
Circuit design (PCB, power supply system, etc.).
Experience in PLC program evaluation, download/upload process & real-time ladder logic monitoring.
Familiar with various user interfaces.
Experience with AutoCAD (wiring design)/3D CAD, Siemens S7 1200 PLC, OrCAD, Microsoft Visio, Creo, and Zuken products.
OEM selection / BOM management, documentation creation, release process, and reliability testing knowledge.
Utilize knowledge in all engineering change management.
Experience evaluating electrical instruments such as ammeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes.
Experience with other standards such as CE, SEMI S2, S8, S22/NFPA 79, UL508A etc.
Radio Frequency (RF) Technology Basics.
PC skills (Excel:
Functions / PowerPoint: Word processing, e-mail software, etc.).
