Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strategies, policies, and procedures for sales, cost assessment, taxes, assets, budgets, credit provision, cash flow management, etc.
  • Develop and direct implementation of strategies to drive margin improvement and competitive pricing
  • Develop strategies and collaborative implementation plans for process improvements in financial reporting and forecasting
  • Lead a cross-functional team working with operations, engineering, purchasing and sales/marketing teams to increase profitability
  • Collaboratively support strategic planning function
  • Oversee capital spending, reinforce accountability for such spending
  • Establish the framework for good financial decision making
  • Oversee global consolidation of plant & engineering financial performance
  • Hiring, mentoring & developing regional and plant financial staff
  • Communicate principles for sound financial controlling and high integrity

Skills:

  • Skilled in various finance reporting and analysis tools; good command of SAP (or other ERP)system and advanced knowledge of costing, tax , treasury Mgt, certain laws;
  • Solid communication skill, organization behavior skill
  • Business oriented, team player with strong proactivity and leadership with capability to alert and influence on financial issue , can work under pressure with hand on attitude
  • Requires strong business acumen and influencing skills in addition to core accounting/finance skills
  • Willingness & aptitude to "do the work" (if necessary) as well as "direct the work"
  • Creative thinker with the ability to see innovative solutions to business problems
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and drive solutions to implementation.
