The chosen candidate will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days a week, and have the flexibility to work remotely for one day. More details will be shared by a member of our recruitment team.
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement data solutions and integrate diverse data sets into enterprise systems
- Utilize languages such as Python, Java, C#, Node, TypeScript, Angular, and/or React for developing data solutions
- Create high-performance data solutions for processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources into cloud-based data lakes or warehouses
- Collaborate with business users to translate functional requirements into technical designs
- Work across teams to prototype, design, develop, and support testing and bug fixing for data solutions while meeting project deadlines
- Produce high-quality, testable code with automated testing procedures
- Migration of on-premises solutions to the cloud using cost-effective cloud-native services
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and 5+ years of experience in data-intensive enterprise applications
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, Spark, and C#
- Experience with real-time data applications using NodeJs, ReactJS, and/or AngularJS
- Strong skills in Unix Shell Scripting, SQL, data modeling, ETL principles, and non-relational databases like DynamoDB
- Expertise in DevOps tools such as AzureDevOps, Maven, NPM, Ansible, and Nexus Repository
- Familiarity with container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
- Understanding of AWS serverless application model and microservices design principles
- Thorough knowledge of cloud native services including AWS Glue, Redshift, EMR, RDS, Kinesis, S3, Athena, DynamoDB, Step Functions, and Lambda
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments
- Prior experience in a tech role within the financial services industry
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with adaptability to new environments
- Ability to quickly grasp new technologies, systems, and business domains
- Preferred AWS certifications on Data related specialties
The salary range for this role typically falls between $120K - $150K depending on skills, experience, and location.
