Functional Consultant (SAP Finance)

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Functional Consultant to join a transformative, multi-year global program.

This program is designed to define and develop a Global Template, simplifying, standardizing, and automating business processes and systems by leveraging SAP's and industry best practices.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a critical role in a large-scale SAP deployment, focusing on the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) stream.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Functional Consultant, you will be accountable for project success and your primary responsibilities will include:

  • The Functional Consultant takes accountability for project success
  • Exposure to SAP Finance Controlling, Project Costing & Material Ledger area.
  • Supports development of To-Be processes based on user requirements within the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) stream
  • Supports during scoping and develops functional specifications & confirms developments
  • Configures system and documents configuration according to project standards
  • Identifies and escalates configuration related conflicts with different projects in the same SAP environment and other used systems / tool
  • Supports creation test specification and preparation of test data (prepare testing environment)
  • Supports data migration and performs cut-over
  • Provides country / site-specific system know how depending on project deployment.

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP.
In-depth knowledge of SAP Finance Controlling, Project Costing, and Material Ledger business processes.
Strong understanding of cross-functional integration process flows, data, and dependencies.
Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken) and experience working in a multinational environment.
Good understanding of Solution Manager (SolMan) ALM methodologies.
Experience working in an agile environment and managing multiple parallel initiatives.
Readiness to travel as required by project needs.
Experience in the Pharmaceuticals industry is a significant advantage.
