Project Manager

Our Team
The team is responsible for bringing up new product development of micro miniaturized connectors for fast-paced consumer and commercial markets. This role requires instrumental skillset that can collaborate with other functions in multiple entities. The successful candidate will also need to be a self-starter, proven project leader, diligent project leader, a good communicator, and problem solver. You will work with cross-functional teams on complex engineering and operational problems, deal with ambiguity and advocate on behalf of the customer.

What You Will Do

  • Lead projects and handle comprehensive product development management (Scope/Change management, product development schedule, production readiness, project budget, quality requirement) and bring the efforts to on--time product launch.
  • By working with the cross-function team, monitor projects to articulate problems, continuously improve them, mitigate risks ahead, and report to relevant executives on a regular basis.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Management team and participate in drawing up business plans.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience as Project manager/engineer
  • Agile project management experience.
  • Sound business judgment and problem-solving skillset associated with strong analytical/critical/logical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional organization skills and ability to organize and influence others without authority, and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in cross functional work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with senior leadership and function leaders, as well as executive presentation skills with ability to buy executive support in a timely manner.

Japanese: Native Level

English: Business Level

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Project Manager Experience in Electric Product or Electric Component.
  • Experience in Mobile Industry.
  • Education in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Basic knowledge of Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean
  • Basic understanding of and willingness to embrace PBM (Principle-Based Management).
